What is a Water Check?
A Water Check analyzes the efficiency of your automated sprinkler system. A horticulture intern will perform the Water Check at your home and provide you with a customized watering schedule.
The tests that will be performed include soil type, grass root depth, sprinkler distribution uniformity and water pressure. The entire process will take approximately one hour.
When and where are they available?
Water Checks are available from June through August in the following counties: Davis, Duchesne, Garfield, Juab, Piute, Salt Lake, Uintah, Utah, Wasatch, Washington, and Weber.
How much does it cost?
The Water Check Program is a free service.
